When ikordo approached UKMN, they were a start-up software venture backed by the leading European investment capitalist, Eden Ventures. The ikordo service was nearly complete in terms of technical engineering, however it was now time to create a brand strategy and identity to launch the product.
Our first phase of work was to uncover the true benefits and core strengths of ikordo, and refine those features into a clear and compelling brand propostion to resonate with the intended dermographics. With this foundation in place, UKMN created a fresh identity, both in terms of visual direction and tone of voice. This identity was applied across the user-interface of the product by UKMN, and subsequently delivered to the mass-market via series of new digital advertising and viral tactics.

ikordo.com was launched internationally in May 2007, with a focus on the US and UK markets.
Since launch, the new ikordo.com service has quickly reached a growing number of users, achieved through primarily word-of-mouth and viral brand spread. The growing user-base includes a variety of dermographics, ranging from influencial technologists, to senior corporate professionals.
