Motorola acquired the AJAR product from one of their suppliers early in 2007. AJAR needed to be positioned correctly within the Motorola family, inherting the global corporate brand values whilst creating and developing its own identity within the market.
UKMN designed an identity system for AJAR that is contemporary and individual, and finds harmony with the establishsed corporate Motorola brand. The new identity reflects the underlying philosophy of the AJAR framework, which assists collaboration between different industry partners during the design phases of mass-market mobile phones. The identity system is designed to be flexible to help Motorola tailor specific communcaitions to different audeinces within a complex industry.

UKMN was commissioned following an intensive pitch process against a shortlist of respected brand consultancies. Motorola acquired AJAR in early 2007 and needed to integrate the new product into its global structure.
